For many investors, ROI isn’t just about financial gains—it’s about impact. If you’re looking for a return on impact, consider making a charitable capital contribution to Refuge Homes. In this post, we’ll explain how this works and highlight some organizations that can help you make it happen.
Making a charitable capital contribution is fairly straightforward:
Donate to a Donor Advised Fund (DAF), such as the Impact Foundation’s Impact Account.
You can then invest the donation money with Refuge Homes.
At the end of the investment term, you will get your donation money (i.e., your capital contribution) back.
You’ll also receive interest on your capital contribution, which you can keep or reinvest into Refuge Homes.
By reinvesting the money back into Refuge Homes, you’re helping us continue to build houses for NC nonprofits.
This allows your donation to go further than it perhaps otherwise would if it were not continually being reinvested to help nonprofits through impact investing.
Note: If you have a National Christian Foundation DAF, they can send your money to the Impact Foundation.
About the Impact Foundation
The Impact Foundation funnels charitable capital into businesses that drive economic, social, and spiritual transformation.
They offer faith-based impact investors a way to fund transformative businesses, provide charitable loans, and expand their giving potential. This results in greater change, higher returns, and more resources to fuel meaningful impact.
Their Impact Account is a special kind of DAF that allows impact investors to choose or recommend where they want to invest.
About the National Christian Foundation (NCF)
The NCF is the largest DAF sponsor. Since 1982, they have been inspiring biblical generosity in more than 180 local communities across the US. As a result, they have sent more than $20 billion on behalf of the families they serve to more than 90,000 charities.
Wrapping Up
Continually reinvesting your donation with Refuge Homes helps you continually have a positive impact in the lives of others.
