Meet Our Founders
Founded by Dana LaBerge and Blake Anderson, Refuge Homes is a team driven by a deep passion for seeing lives and communities transformed. Dana and Blake have dedicated their lives to creating housing where vulnerable individuals can find refuge and rebuild their lives. With a shared vision, they lead Refuge Homes in its mission to steer the transformation of neighborhoods for the benefit of those who need it most.
Dana LaBerge
CO-FOUNDER
Dana spent 14 years serving as a pastor before beginning a new chapter in North Carolina with his family. After working as a COO for a company that flipped over 100 houses in 8 states, he started his own real estate investing business. God has grown these business ventures over the last eight years and he now manages over $17m in a mix of private & commercial capital. He has a genuine passion and desire to help people break cycles and step into what God has designed them for. Dana is married with 3 children.
Blake Anderson
CO-FOUNDER
Blake has 20 years of experience in the construction industry, with over 15 years as a licensed general contractor. As a true entrepreneur, Blake has a gift for seeing the way forward. He enjoys building businesses and creating systems that serve people well. Blake is passionate about helping people get to the next level in whatever it is they are pursuing. He and his wife, Hope, have been married for 18 years and have three children. Ultimately, Blake’s mission is to help people move from suffering to success.
