Here’s Why What We’re Doing Is Working…

This year, we confirmed our thesis: Changing lives requires the right environment. And housing is a major component for that transformation to occur.

This is especially true for vulnerable populations.

In this post, we’re digging into how we know this to be true, citing how we are uniquely qualified to help nonprofits while providing a few examples from our nonprofit partners.

Helping Nonprofits & Donors Solve a Central Problem

Across the country, donors and nonprofit leaders are dreaming about what’s possible. Investors want to create meaningful impact in their communities through real estate. Nonprofits want to expand their programs and better serve others through housing.

But most simply don’t have the staff, resources, or experience to bring those dreams to life.

That’s where we step in.

We come alongside nonprofits, donors, and investors with the systems, people, and processes needed to create housing that supports the work of ministries and makes the kind of impact donors hope to see.

When Housing Becomes Essential

Housing isn’t always part of a nonprofit’s original plan, but it’s an essential component for life-changing transformation to occur.

Hope + Vine, for example, never set out to provide housing. Their heart was to mentor and support young women aging out of foster care. But they soon realized those women couldn’t fully engage if they didn’t know where they would sleep at night. Housing became a necessary part of their mission. With our help, they now provide it.

Restorative Transitions found the same to be true. Every person in their program lives in a home connected to Refuge Homes or one of our affiliates. Without housing, the folks in their program couldn’t participate.

And Onehope Refuge uses our housing to help women and children who have been victims of human trafficking. By giving them safe places to stay, these individuals are able to heal and grow in a supportive environment.

The last example we’ll mention here is the Raleigh Dream Center. They are expanding their reach because housing is in place for the folks they serve. With our help, they now meet this fundamental need, and they’re able to focus fully on serving people and sharing hope.

Join Us in Continuing to Prove Our Thesis

Throughout 2025, we’ve continually seen that when people have a place to call home, healing and growth are possible.

Our thesis has been confirmed.

Now, we must continue doing the work we started. But we can’t do this without help from our impact investors. If you’re interested in joining us, ask about becoming an impact investor today.
